Transparent plastic packaging can seem small and anonymous in isolation – e.g. a dip carton or liver paste lid – but they are our classics and familiar to most people.

Such packaging subconsciously encourages the consumer to like the product. A salad looks inviting because the topping is fresh and appetising and can be seen through the lid. A cheese that lasts well in a practical cheese dome. The liver paste lid that is easy to open and close – and most importantly of all, stays where it should.

The raw materials have a huge influence on the finished product in terms of price and quality. At packplast, we are constantly working on maintaining uniform quality at the right price.

Fixed procedures in production support this objective, such as all raw materials being delivered with certificates and the prescribed documentation. And when a new supplier is used, we produce a limited number of pallets of the packaging concerned that will then be tested in reality, whether used for production of meat paste or Italian salad.
