Raw materials can also contribute to product development:<\/h4>\n

The raw material for salad trays developed for Mills is A-PET\/EVOH\/PE. EVOH\u2019s effectiveness as a barrier helps increase the shelf life of the product. The PE layer improves the \u2018weldability\u2019 of the tray and the thin layer of film peeled off after the lid sticks 100% to the lip of the tray, increasing airtightness.
